Small Group Trip Amalfi Coast – Experience the Authentic Coastline
The Amalfi Coast’s beauty is no secret. Its cliffside villages and renowned Mediterranean views have drawn travelers for decades. But there is another side to this region that moves at a slower pace and reveals more of its authentic character. That side emerges most vividly outside of the summer rush, when life along the coast centers its residents rather than the peak-season crowds.
Our small group trip to the Amalfi Coast and Capri, happening in March of 2026, is designed to embrace that quieter season. Over nine days, the journey takes in well-loved sights and lesser-known hidden corners, creating a balance between well-known bucket list moments and those that are far less common. A few different hikes that showcase the identity of the region from different angles, with views of the land and sea. We partner with local guides that are able to share their knowledge of the area’s maritime traditions, agricultural heritage, and culinary roots, adding depth and authenticity to every step.
Capri – A Calmer Island Experience in March
Our nine-day small group trip begins in Capri, where the atmosphere is calmer than in the summer months. In addition to guided hikes along scenic trails, we will explore hidden sea caves by boat, and enjoy long meals in family-run trattorias. Without the peak-season rush, there’s time to notice the details like the ancient architecture, lush gardens, and conversations with the locals who make this island special.
From Capri, we make our way to the Amalfi Coast mainland during our group trip, beginning in Ravello. Here, historic villas and terraced gardens open to panoramic views, offering a peaceful start to our time on the coast. From Ravello, we continue down to Positano, where colorful buildings spill toward the harbor and narrow streets invite slow exploration. The trip ends in Naples, where the pace shifts once more, this time to the energy of local markets and the bold flavors of Campania during guided tastings.
Along the way, the itinerary includes:
Two cooking classes with local chefs
A winery tour and tasting
A limoncello-making workshop with a local family
Iconic hikes such as the Path of the Gods, as well as lesser-known trails through lemon groves and mountain villages
