Our Local Managers live in the destination countries and speak the local languages, allowing us to create partnerships with local craftsmen, who often don’t speak English nor have a strong online presence, thus bridging the gap between tradition and the 21st-century discerning traveler.

At LBR, we are a dedicated team of passionate travelers, adventurers and travel designers with a mission to preserve tradition and culture through meaningful, sustainable and exceptional travel. We do this by seeking experiences, accommodations and partnerships which curate authentic, immersive itineraries for discerning travelers.
We live and work in many of the places touched by mass tourism and have seen first hand the unintended consequences of an unchecked and rapidly growing industry. We are introducing people to a different travel experience – one which empowers both the traveler and the communities they visit. We believe that by traveling in a way that emphasizes slowness, authenticity and connection we have the potential to enrich our relationships, expand our perspective and create a positive impact on the world around us.
