If you love clothing, accessories and the constant research of new trends, you will not want to miss Milano Fashion Week!We are talking about big names in the fashion world such us Balenciaga, Alberta Ferretti (the designer of the new uniforme for the airline Alitalia), Versace, Fendi and of course Chanel.Milano Fashion Week began in 1958 and it is one of the Big Four major events in the world’s fashion capitals New York, London, Milan and Paris.

This week is not just about catwalks; there are many more interesting events taking place, from emerging brands presentations to talks about different trends in various countries around the globe. The calendar for all of the events is usually posted a month before so that people can plan accordingly. It can get quite overwhelming trying to do and see everything!In my personal experience, living in the century of social media, more than looking at the models on the catwalk, I’ve always found observing the attendees more interesting. It is in fact the so-called street-style of ordinary people who makes Milan such as interesting and ever-changing city to be in. I believe that they are the source of inspiration for charming everyday outfits as well as more extravagant ones for special occasions.If you are a fashion lover like me, Milano Fashion Week is something you will want to experience at least once in your lifetime. For an Italian fashion photographer, there is nothing more rewarding than capturing people appreciating the Made in Italy!

Chi non è affascinato dalla bellezza e dall’innovazione tra sfilate, aperitivi e nightlife?  Se ami i vestiti, gli accessori da abbinarci e la continua ricerca di novità non puoi perderti la Milano Fashion week.Parliamo di grandi talenti della moda come Balenciaga, Alberta Ferretti (che quest’anno ha realizzato le nuove divise dell’Alitalia), Versace, Fendi e l’immancabile Chanel.

La settimana della moda di Milano è stata istituita nel 1958 e fa parte della “Big Four”, ovvero dei quattro eventi ritenuti particolarmente importanti in quanto svolti nelle capitali della moda New York, Londra, Milano e Parigi.Attorno le sfilate però c’è da dire che gira tutto un mondo di eventi assolutamente interessanti, tra cui presentazioni di brand emergenti o happening che si svolgono per una o più ore durante il giorno.
Ovviamente il calendario delle sfilate esce un mese prima cosi da dar modo alle persone di organizzarsi e gestirsi le giornate riuscendo a vedere il più possibile.Per esperienza personale, vivendo nell’epoca dei social, più che guardare quello che appare in passerella osservo chi sta fuori. È proprio lo street-style delle persone per le strade di Milano durante la fashion week che sono di particolare interesse. Se sei appassionato della moda come me, la Fashion Week di Milano è un’opportunità assolutamente da non perdere.
Per un’italiana fotografa di alta moda, non c’è niente più gratificante di immortalare la gente che apprezza il Made in Italy.
