Every year, Easter Sunday lunch at Villa D’Este is an appointment that cannot be missed. The patisserie chefs have been working hard for weeks to prepare an outstanding exhibition of Easter chocolate eggs, animals, sculptures… real works of art! There is a separate salon used to display the artwork and sometimes you can even find a hen with her chicks that play on their dedicated table, under a giant Easter egg. Before the lunch starts you have the opportunity to wander around, take photos, and choose which one of these beautiful creations you want to take home with you. If you are looking to purchase some art, the earlier you arrive, the better choice you have.Whether you choose your egg beforehand or not, you will bring home one of these chocolate sculptures, beautifully gift wrapped, as a sweet memory of your Easter Lunch at Villa d’Este.
