Patagonia Region
We love off-the-beaten paths and very few places are as remote and unspoiled as certain areas of Patagonia. You can hike the entire day and never see a sign of civilization. Just you, your breath, and the earth. And your expert guide of course!
If you are a thrill and adventure seeker, love the great outdoors, and are ready to experience the magnitude of this majestic planet, the region of Patagonia is the perfect destination for you!
The Chilean Patagonia, with its endless Carretera Austral, is ever more remote and we recommend spending at least two full weeks just in Chile. Three to four weeks are required to explore both the northern and the southern Patagonia of both countries.
The region of Patagonia is as stunningly intricate as it is vast, covering more than 300,000 square miles of territory across Chile and Argentina. Home to 27 national parks with the world’s most spectacular hiking trails, Patagonia is a haven for any outdoorsman and adventure seeker.
The region is divided into northern and southern Patagonia. The north, with its warmer weather, has an abundance of lakes, forests, waterfalls, and lagoons and is overall easier to navigate. The south, with its colder and windier weather, is more remote, with breathtaking mountain peaks and untamed glaciers.
